How to Read Southern Greens - Putt & Chip on Grain
Are you a golfer who hails from the Northern states and are baffled by speed and accuracy on southern Bermuda greens? This class is perfect for you and other golfers who would like to understand grain better.
Bermuda grass has much more grain than northern grasses. It's used due to its tolerance for high heat and goes dormant in the winter months. This type of grass is more of a creeping-along-the-ground grass that resembles a shag carpet or short-haired animal's fur. Putting and chipping on this type of variable texture can cause confusion with speed, accuracy and off-the-green contact. Let us show you how to manage it better today!
The Golf Professional Staff will show you how to interpret the colors, worn edges on a hole and more. Improve your grain reading and see your scores drop too!
