Farm Team clinics and play sessions are conducted Wednesday afternoons for Men and Thursday afternoons for Women by the Landings Golf Professional Staff at various courses. Participants receive handouts on skills tips and game tips before heading to the course to tee it up for up to 9 holes with other new golfers in an easy and fun format. Clinics run for 45 minutes, cost $19 and cover topics such as putting, chipping, pitching, sand, full swing and more. Game topics include a wide variety of topics, all designed to make a newcomer feel more at home when playing golf. Topics might cover handicapping, cart maneuvering, rules, how to's, gamemanship, etiquette and more. Play formats include Par Strokes Scoring and a few other formats from very select teeing ground distances... all designed to keep play fun and timed near a two-hour round.

Staff: Landings Golf Professional Staff
Class Size: 3-18. If minimum not met, the class will stil be conducted for the same price buyt at a half-hour time frame with the smaller student:teacher ratio.
Open to: Clinics are open to all Landings Club members and their guests. Course play is for Golf Members or other members on limited / basic golf memberships (rules for rounds apply to Farm Team rounds).
Cost: $19
Sign-Up: Students must register at the golf shop by NOON of the preceding day for planning purposes. A wait-list will be generated if participation reaches the maximum number.

* Mentor Play Day for ladies interested in playing golf with their mentor or for those not mentor-matched, playing with a mentor. Participants do not have to play with a 9-Hole Ladies Association mentor. Those interested in playing with a mentor can let the Golf Shop Staff know when calling the shop to register. (Usually March, April, September, October for group mentor play. Contact Nicole Weller with requests for an individual mentor).

Farm Team Women’s Play Guidelines
The Landings Golf Professional Staff hopes that you will enjoy playing anywhere up to 9 holes during the Play Day from the various tees. We have set up this structured guideline for you to follow and develop your game. Newer golfers will have more fun playing from appropriate distances and can also play with people of other levels at their own teeing ground!
Farm Team Level 1
Tees: Skidaway Tees
Format: Par Strokes Scoring
Advance to Next Tee: When Par Strokes Scoring is 65 or below for 9 holes.
Farm Team Level 2
Tees: Skidaway Tees
Format: Par Strokes Scoring
Advance to Next Tee: When Par Strokes Scoring is 55 or below for 9 holes.
Farm Team Level 3
Tees: Forward or Short Tees
Format: Par Strokes Scoring
Advance to Next Tee: When Par Strokes Scoring is 65 or below for 9 holes.
Farm Team Level 4
Tees: Forward Tees
Format: Individual Stroke Play (no pick-up)
Scoring: Playing individual stroke play and can graduate to 9-Hole Ladies Association with an established handicap of 30 of lower for 9 holes or 60 or lower for 18 holes.

Farm Team Graduate Group

Format: Individual Stroke Play (no pick ups)
Scoring: Playing individual stroke play with or establishing a handicap.
Please remember that staff may pass out Stop Watches for your Pace of Play so your group can monitor pace. For Farm Team, 2 hours and15 minutes for 9 holes is maximum (@ 13 minutes / Par 3, 14 minutes / Par 4 and 15 minutes / Par 5).
